Evri tracking: numbers, statuses and parcels held at the depot

Evri, known as Hermes in the UK until 2022, delivers parcels for many online shops. Its parcels go through regional hubs and local depots to a courier who delivers to your door, or to an Evri ParcelShop or locker.

Where to find the tracking number

  • In the dispatch email from the shop.
  • In texts or emails from Evri about your delivery, if the shop shared your contact details.
  • On the receipt or in the app, if you sent the parcel yourself.

What Evri numbers look like

Evri tracking numbers are 16 characters long: either digits only, or letters and digits. Older numbers from the Hermes days can look the same. See tracking number formats.

The stages you'll see

  • Received: Evri has the parcel from the shop or a ParcelShop.
  • At a hub or at the depot: sorted at a regional hub, then at the local depot that serves your postcode.
  • With your courier / out for delivery: on the way to you today, often with a delivery window.
  • Delivered, often with where it was left or a photo (depending on the service and the delivery), or at a ParcelShop or locker, ready to collect within the time shown.

Typical problems

  • Held at the depot: the parcel is waiting at the local depot, for example because of a backlog, a missing courier on that round, or a problem with the address or label. How long it stays depends on the reason; if it doesn't move on within a few working days, contact Evri or the shop with the tracking number.
  • Parcel not delivered: check the delivery photo, your safe place, bins, porches and neighbours, and any card naming a ParcelShop. If tracking says delivered, follow the delivered but not received checklist.
  • Lost or damaged parcels: when a shop sent the parcel, the shop is Evri's customer and usually the one to arrange a refund or replacement, so contact it first.
  • No updates for days before the depot; see tracking not updating.

For claims, redelivery, customs payments and anything about your account, use Evri's own website: evri.com. Trackful is an independent package tracker and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Evri; the Evri name is used only to identify the carrier.

Track your package

Paste a tracking number: Trackful looks it up with the carrier (or asks you to pick one) and shows the updates the carrier reports. Free, no sign-up, up to 3 packages in the browser.

On Android, the Trackful app finds tracking numbers in your shipping emails on your phone and notifies you when a status changes.
