Questions and answers
How does Trackful use my email?
Connecting a mailbox is optional. Gmail is connected with an app password that you create in your Google Account (Gmail's IMAP access); other mailboxes are connected with their IMAP settings. The app uses this access for one purpose only: to find parcel tracking numbers in your emails.
- Emails are read and analyzed on your device. Email content is never sent to our servers.
- Tracking numbers found in emails are shown to you as suggestions. Only the numbers you choose to add (and, optionally, their carrier) leave your device, so their delivery status can be checked.
- The app never sends, modifies, or deletes emails.
- We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't use it to train AI models.
- You can disconnect your mailbox in the app at any time and revoke the app password in your Google Account under App passwords.
Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it's free. Tracking on the web needs no account: this browser keeps up to 3 packages for 30 days. The Android app is free too and works without an account; connecting a mailbox is optional.
Which carriers are supported?
About 3 500 postal and courier services around the world: national posts, DHL, UPS, FedEx, DPD, InPost, Cainiao and many more. Trackful recognizes the carrier from the tracking number; when a number fits several carriers, you choose the right one.
