YunExpress tracking: YT numbers, statuses and local delivery
YunExpress is a cross-border logistics company that ships online orders, mostly from China, to buyers abroad. It carries the parcel internationally; a carrier in your country delivers it.
Where to find the tracking number
- In the shipping confirmation email or on the order page of the shop.
- On the label of the parcel, if you have it in hand (for a return, say).
What YunExpress numbers look like
Many YunExpress numbers start with YT followed by 16 digits, 18 characters in all. Because the final delivery is done by a local carrier, the tracking often also shows that carrier's name and its own tracking number once the parcel has been handed over.
Who delivers it in your country
YunExpress hands the parcel to a partner for the last part of the journey: often the national postal service, sometimes a courier. Which one depends on the destination country and the service the seller chose. The handover event usually names the partner; from then on, delivery attempts, pickup notices and redelivery are handled by that carrier, so its website or app is where to arrange them.
Common statuses
- Shipment information received: the seller created the shipment; the parcel may not have reached YunExpress yet. See what this stage means.
- Received / processed at the YunExpress facility: the first physical scans.
- Departed from the origin airport, arrived at the destination airport: the international flight. There may be no events in between.
- Customs clearance: processing by customs, mostly on arrival in the destination country.
- Handed over to the last-mile carrier: from here the local carrier delivers it; its events may follow in the same history.
- Delivered, or available for pickup.
Typical problems
- A long quiet period between the origin facility and the destination airport; normal on economy routes. See tracking not updating.
- The tracking stops after the handover: look for the last-mile carrier's name and number in the latest events and track it there.
- Missing or late parcels: contact the shop you ordered from. YunExpress works for the seller, who can open an inquiry.
For claims, redelivery, customs payments and anything about your account, use YunExpress's own website: yunexpress.com. Trackful is an independent package tracker and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YunExpress; the YunExpress name is used only to identify the carrier.
