How to find the tracking number of an AliExpress order

AliExpress shows the tracking number on each order once the seller has shipped it. Many orders travel with Cainiao, the logistics network AliExpress works with, or with other logistics partners, and are delivered by a local carrier in your country.

Where to look

  • In the app or on the website: open your account and your orders list, open the order and choose "Track order" (or the tracking option of your app version). The tracking page shows the tracking number and the logistics service, such as AliExpress Standard Shipping or a seller's own carrier.
  • In the shipping email: AliExpress emails you when an order ships; the email links to the order's tracking.

Which number to use

An AliExpress order can show more than one number over its journey:

  • A Cainiao logistics number, for example one starting with LP followed by digits; Cainiao uses other formats too. It is tracked by Cainiao and its partners; see Cainiao tracking.
  • An international postal number of 13 characters, such as RB123456785CN, when the shipment goes by post. Your national postal service may be able to track it after arrival, depending on the service; see tracking number formats.
  • A local carrier's number, added to the tracking page when a courier in your country takes over the last mile.

If one number stops updating after the shipment has arrived in your country, check whether the latest events name a local carrier or a second number, and track that one. Don't use the AliExpress order number: it identifies your purchase, not the shipment.

What the first days look like

Sellers often mark an order as shipped as soon as they create the label, so the first days can show only "order processed" or similar events while the package travels to a consolidation warehouse. See our guide to the "shipment information received" status. Longer quiet periods are normal on international economy routes; see tracking not updating.

AliExpress shows the order's protection terms, including how long you have to open a dispute. If the tracking stays unchanged, check the delivery estimate and that deadline on the order.

Tracking the number outside the AliExpress app

Copy the number exactly as shown, then paste it into the field below or into the Trackful app. If it fits several carriers, pick the one the order page names. If the carrier doesn't know the number yet, see tracking number not found: right after shipping, that is normal.

Trackful is an independent package tracker. It is not affiliated with AliExpress, has no access to your AliExpress account and doesn't import orders from it. In the Android app you can connect a mailbox (Gmail with an app password, or any IMAP mailbox): a model on your phone reads shipping emails, including those from online shops, and suggests the tracking numbers it finds. You choose which to add. Email content stays on your phone; only the numbers you add are sent to check their status.

Track your package

Paste a tracking number: Trackful looks it up with the carrier (or asks you to pick one) and shows the updates the carrier reports. Free, no sign-up, up to 3 packages in the browser.

On Android, the Trackful app finds tracking numbers in your shipping emails on your phone and notifies you when a status changes.
